The Hall and its traditions are the hub around which generations of Tallow Chandlers have gathered. We’ve been based on Dowgate Hill since 1476, and resident in our current Hall since 1672. The Hall is close to all our hearts – and we love sharing it too.
Five hundred years is an awful lot of history. Each one of us is reminded of it every time we visit the Hall, whether for a convivial dinner or to give time to one of our committees. It helps us remember that we’re all just a small part of an enduring tradition of charity and good fellowship.
