In 2012, we’re celebrating our 550th anniversary.

It’s just over half a millennium since King Edward IV granted us full livery company status in 1462.

We’re active supporters of charity and trade.

We help a wide range of educational and medical charities, and maintain strong links with the oil, edible fats and candle trades.

On the 10th November, we joined the procession for the 2012 Lord Mayor’s Show

We’re at home in the heart of traditional London.

We moved into our current Hall in 1672, and have been based on Dowgate Hill since 1476.

We’re one of London’s oldest social networks.

Everything we do begins with good fellowship, as it has done since our first gatherings in the 1200s.
