Leigh Academy Halley OFSTEAD Celebration

On Friday 3rd July, we welcomed 60 Leigh Academy Halley staff and their Principal, Ben Russell, to the Hall to celebrate the school’s excellent OFSTED result. As one of the first schools to be inspected under the new OFSTED framework, the school has been awarded ‘exceptional’ in five areas and ‘strong standard’ in two areas – building on the previous result of Good in 2022.

Mark Boult, Second Warden, gave a welcome speech to all guests and presented Ben with an engraved silver candlestick as a token of our thanks and best wishes for his new role as Academies Director at Leigh Academies Trust. In his speech, Ben thanked the Company for its ongoing and invaluable support, and thanked his staff for their dedication and work.

Guests enjoyed nibbles and drinks in the sunshine in the Courtyard and were delighted to explore the Hall. All had a wonderful time and send their thanks to the Company for the opportunity to visit the Hall and its hospitality.
