In early June, the Clerk attended the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (Princess Royal’s Volunteer Corps) Passing Out parade at Wellington Barracks in support of this year’s two sponsored Tallow Chandlers’ recruits, Valentine Gulliford and Becca Brooks.
The Company has been supporting the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry since 2018. The all-female voluntary organisation provides response to a crisis and support to national authorities. The Company presently sponsors two students a year through training.
We are looking forward to welcoming Valentine and Becca to the Hall in September when they will join the Education and Charity Committee over lunch.
